The Festival will be held at the WYSO Center for Music at 1118 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53703.

Absolutely!  Some sessions are interactive, and we encourage you to bring your flute(s). Music stands will be provided in relevant sessions.

Parking is available at several locations near the WYSO Center for Music and in the surrounding neighborhood. Street parking is limited, but free.  There are some parking lots and ramps nearby. View a live parking map here.  For a printable map with details, click here.

Yes!  Bring cash, check or credit card with you to register and pay at the door.  See our registration page for rates.

Generally yes. A coat check and instrument storage is typically available. More details will be made available closer to the Festival.

Boxed lunches will be available for pre-order with your registration for your convenience.

Yes. We have dedicated warm-up rooms for all participants. If you are performing or presenting, you will have the option to move to a private warm-up space immediately prior to your start of your session.

Check In and Registration will be in the main lobby of the WYSO Center for Music. When you check-in you’ll get your Festival badge which you will need to be able to get into sessions. Please keep your badge on you at all times. You’ll also get a program book with details for the entire Festival.

You’re welcome to try instruments right in the exhibit hall. Several rooms will be set aside for private trials to ensure that you have the opportunity try instruments in greater detail.

The evening concert is free and open to the public. During the concert we will also announce competition winners.
