Past Festivals
First held in 2004, the Wisconsin Flute Festival had modest beginnings with an ambitious vision. Each year, the annual gathering of flutists and other music lovers has expanded in scope and impact, with the most significant period of growth starting with the 2017 Festival. Featuring prominent guest artists, performers, clinicians, and educators, the Wisconsin Flute Festival offers a broad range of opportunities to musicians and the community at large. The Festival includes competitions, master classes, a variety of interactive sessions and lectures, reading sessions, other participatory offerings, and an exhibit hall, which concludes in a concert presented by our featured guest artist.
