About the Festival
The Wisconsin Flute Festival (WIFF) is a one-day educational event for flute players and enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Attendees have the opportunity to meet and network with other Midwest flute players and teachers, participate in hands-on classes and workshops, perform in solo and group settings, and access exhibitors and vendors of flutes and flute-related merchandise, as well as enjoy performances from a wide variety of professional musicians including a concert featuring Lorna McGhee.
The Wisconsin Flute Festival is a great opportunity to connect with and learn from the fantastically talented flute community of Wisconsin, and beyond. Flute faculty, students, and performers from the entire Midwest region will enjoy an inspiring day of education and fun in the beautiful Pyle Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
